Chapelwaite ART Video

Now that Chapelwaite has finished airing I’m really happy to be able to post this behind the scenes look at the work that was involved in creating the world that you see on screen.

I’ve gotten in the habit of making these videos during the end of production, first and foremost as a thank you to the art department for their increasingly incredible work, and to also share a peak behind the curtain of how these things come together. I hope the fact that we built so much of this from scratch will surprise viewers of the show!

Lighthouse ART Video

Here’s a peak behind the scenes of how we brought the world featured in THE LIGHTHOUSE to life.

For years I have regretted not taking more photos and videos of our process as we design and build sets. I knew something special was happening while we prepped this film, so we all made a conscious effort to document things as much as we could. As we neared the end of filming, I put this together so that the art dept could watch and see what they had just accomplished. This method has become my go-to! I love to put these together as we work. It’s a great showcase for our work and a great way to say thank you to the crew.
